Counselling Sessions Started for IGNOU BCA & BCA_NEW .

MERIT News

1. An Induction Meeting for newly admitted learners of BCA, MCA (New), and PGDCA programs was held at MERIT on 11th April 2025.The session began with a warm welcome by Mr. Tusar Ranjan Sarangi, who introduced the participants to MERIT and its academic environment.Dr. Rattan Kumar Datta, Director of MERIT, addressed the learners and emphasized the importance of distance education. He encouraged students to attend classes regularly and remain consistent in their academic efforts. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. M.A. Laskar, Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre Delhi-1, and Dr. A. Rehman, Assistant Regional Director, who shared valuable insights with the learners.
The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Meena Datta, Principal of MERIT, acknowledging the presence of the dignitaries and the enthusiastic participation of the students.

2. From 12th April 2025 we are conducting Offline/Online Counseling Sessions for IGNOU BCA/MCA, MCA-New, PGDCA New, PGDCA, and PGDAST for 1 st Semester students. (For Jan-June 2025 session). More than 1600 Counselling Sessions were conducted between 1 st April to 30th April 2025.

3. MERIT successfully conducted a Cyber Security Training Program for Army personnel. The training focused on equipping participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in cyber security. On 3rd April 2025, certificates of completion were awarded to the participants at the super computer center, Noida, marking the successful conclusion of the program.

4. In April 2025 around 15 students appeared for the TOEFL/GRE tests at our center.

5. Admissions are open for MCHNP (MERIT certified Hardware and Networking Professional) and ADCA (Advance Diploma in Computer Application). ABOUT MERIT

"Mohyal Educational & Research Institute of Technology" acronym as MERIT was established in October '99 by GENERAL MOHYAL SABHA (Regd.) to set up an educational society with emphasis on Information Technology. Since then, the institution has been achieving newer heights by empowering the youth of both Mohyals and Non-Mohyals.
